Never heard of a Bowtech Laser. Neither has Google according to my search.

 

If you watch the Bowtech smart bow tuning videos they show it and say it's available online 24hours a day. I just can't find it.

By the way, I see with your name you probably run in HRC Hunt test. I have a Grand dog, and two HRCH UH dogs. plus Master hunters.

I got it emailed to me from Bowtech. Yes I used to run HRC Hunt tests, did it hard for 12 years, gave it up when had to put both my dogs down from old age.

 

They use the Spot Hogg lasers.

 

Oh I thought you were looking for a bow called the Laser. Do people really use stuff like this? I mean what does the laser do that an arrow on the cam not do?

 

And where should the arrow point to when things are set right? Thanks.

 

Not a thing. I just like collecting tools. In theory it could make the tuning more precise and more in line with bowtech's recommendations. Of course as you get that perfect you will move away from specs to make the bow fit you.

Anyone know the dimension between the laser light output and the flat base that lays on the cam? I'd like to know how high the laser light is.

 

It seems i have some issues opening it. I try again tomorrow when im on my computer.

No i got it. Human error, nothing else.

Btw, i compared my three bt bow camlean against to laser chart and they were spot on. So my tuning ended up to correct cam lean result

Hi guys,

This may be an old thread, but I think I cracked the issue wrt bowtech specs.
The laser comes out immediately over the surface area, hence using an arrow on the cam has the same result.
The PDF (thanks hrchdog!) shows where the laser should hit at the other side, if you use your own bow you can make a good estimation of the distance from laser spot to the cam surface.
For my bowtech fanatic that distance would be 18 mm.
I use an arrow and measure halfway, at the D loopt of my string because my arrows don't reach all the way to the other side
The deflection then should be 18 / 2 = 9 mm approx for my Fanatic.
