I am the owner of a brand-new carter honey 2 bought from an online shop and I think the release is broken. It is my first hinge release, so I am not very familiar with hinge releases.
While pressing the safety, the head doesn't lock. The safety selection screw is almost screwed in all the way. Moving the screw in any direction doesn’t change much. I am located in Germany and my dealer thinks, that this release works just fine. Unfortunately, Carter support is not answering my E-Mails. So this is probably the first and last item I buy from Carter.
Can anyone please watch the Video and can confirm, that the behaviour of the release is not normal?
