I have an unfinished basement and in need of a new dehumidifier. I want a reliable one. This Kenmore I have now died after 2 years and the warranty is crap. Any suggestions from first hand use?

Good question, I'd be interested in a reply as well. The Kenmore we have had the fan motor crap out in it and it's not manufactured anymore so we're in need of a new unit as well.
i have an LG one that i bought from home depot a couple of years ago. for the last two years it has run about 8-9 months out of the year (dont' run it in the winter) in my basement. seems to keep the humidity around 50% or less and i have about 1000 sq. ft. in the basement with rock foundation walls.
