DIY Continuous Loop Paracord Wrist Sling

So not nearly as impressive as the other DIY stuff on here, but figured I’d share. I like the security of a wrist sling, but don’t like the bulkiness and mounting options of what’s out in the market. I played around with some designs to find one that was as minimal as possible, comfortable, strong, easily removable, and somewhat seamless-looking (no knots showing if possible). Here is what I settled on, a continuous loop paracord sling:

Mission accomplished. Checks every single box for me. I’m planning to try one using d-loop instead of paracord, just for kicks and go even more minimal.

Components:
~19in of paracord
BCY 3D or serving
Needle and thread
Lighter
A couple pairs of pliers, but not required
~30-60min be pending on how OCD you are

I used 550 as well. Tied mine so it's adjustable

All great ideas. Been thinking about putting one on my bows too now that I've been concentrating more on shot execution and grip.

I do something similar, except I tie 2 uni knots on either end and it makes the loop adjustable. Make the length 20-24" and then wrap around riser and tie the unis and BAM, you have an easy to tie and light wrist sling....with hardly any expense.

my son and I did a more traditional braded version but I really like this idea better. I don't like the bulk of the braided ones. Looks awesome but its just meh for me. I really like this idea. going to give this a try!

Para Cord with shrink tubing. Tied in a loop then snugged up just tight enough around the riser with a zip tie, so it can be adjusted to fit. The shrink tubing with cord is heated , then wrapped around a coffee mug to cool. That allows the loop to retain round shape for easy insertion of the hand and booger pickers.
