Do or will deer eat peaches?

I don't mean to hijack but someone told me about a week ago that deer love pumpkins. Can anyone shed light on whether this is true or not?

I also dont mean to hijack but last weekend I was wondering if deer like pears. We have a pear tree that is really putting them off this year. Ever seen a deer who liked pears?

We could rename this thread to "Do deer like fruit"

Wait, I just found this from buckmanager.com

Pear — Pears are a soft mast which white-tailed deer love. A 4 to 5-foot tall seedling can produce fruit as early as 1 to 3-years. Pears begin dropping fruit in early October and can continue into late November. Pears are long-lived and are really among the easiest fruit trees to grow. In addition, pears are adapted to most soils, including those that are poorly drained. In the south, Keifer pears work great.

I used to hunt a peach orchard. Easy pickins to hide at the opposite end from where the deer came in and have all the shooting lanes you needed.
