One of my bows is 60 pounds on the nose with a 28 inch draw. I use a 29 inch 2314 out of this bow with a 100 grain broadhead. This combo works great.

since you shoot compounds and recurves and the OP is talking about compound bow, what is this 2314 of yours being shot out of?

I should have clarified. I shoot the 2314 arrows out of a Bear Authority compound. A single cam from 2015. Very similar specs to the OP/s bow.
