HI

Just brought home an Evolve DS 33. Need some set up advise. Have a new pse qad MX2 rest. Have some questions:

-How should I set the arrow in relation to Berger hole? centered thru the hole or bottom of arrow is thru center of Berger hole, etc??

-Should the arrow be level? or slightly nock high?

-String stop is off center a little bit. Does the rubber rotate? or is it glued in?

-Picatinny rail. If I mounted the site on the side of the bow, does the picatinnny rail have to be removed?

-Any other advise you have is appreciated

Thank YOU

Some folks like to run the arrow a little high through the berger hole to achieve a better hold. Most of my personal bows set up a bit nock high to get a clean hole through paper. The rubber bumper on PSE String stops typically can be twisted on the rod. Of course you can just loosen the set screw and turn the entire rod pretty easy. I'm not sure on the pic rail. If your sight bracket doesn't hit it, you're fine.

All of this is assuming your DL is good, your timing is set, center shot etc.

I just did the set up on my Evolve 33 yesterday. I installed the QAD rest so the arrow is centered in the Berger hole. When I shoot the launcher arm is contacting the riser. I would set it up so the bottom of arrow is center of the hole or maybe a tad higher. I also seem to end up with everything a little nock high.
