Not seen too much on this bow yet and it’s a very interesting offering this year. What gives? Also when will the new PSE quivers drop?

They really don't market the aluminums well at all. Previous years the names and cam options have been confusing. Even now it's like how many Evolution, EVO, Evolve, XF, EVL, blah blah blahs have there been? Simpllifying the cam option was a good idea. Now clean up the name. Just give it a simple different name each year for the new aluminum. It doesn't need to be complicated. I think they are probably great bows, but pretty much an afterthought to both PSE and the world. I have a Fortis 33 and it was the same way. Fantastic bow, but you really didn't see anything from PSE pushing the Fortis line at all. They even had to split with Nock On's Unite siblings.

I agree they should have named it something different. If we are honest pse hasn’t truly changed much in years. They swap cams back and forth throw it on a “new” riser and say here it is.

I think they should have machined the pic mount in the riser. I realize they don’t like a bridge riser they use to have and went back to a different one

maybe with the change over at the leadership position, they were short in budget? hopefully, they get production caught up and can figure out how to get bows to customers, get your reps out their and rebuild their relationship with dealers. I am not sure if they plan to keep their current rep group for the long haul I hope they will. In the SE with what happened to our rep and how PSE handled that some dealers are still upset over that. Sometimes the only reason that brand is in the particular shop is because of the relationship with the rep. Lots of shops in the area are dealers but not stocking due to demand or relationship.

My understanding is that you can get the other cams; but it would be a custom order. Draw lengths and speed differences would overlay those of the Fortis. In general; if the EC2 cam is your zero; SE2 cams would be plus 4-5 FPS, E2 cams would be plus 10-11 FPS; EC2 with fast mods would be plus 10-11 FPS. E2 cams will get another inch of draw length at max; S2 cams will be 1.50" less at max. Range of DL is 5.5" on the EC2/SE2; and 4.0" on the E2/S2.

I’ve heard a few reviews saying draw length runs short. Are most guys ordering a 1/2” longer?
Also been searching for the pros and cons of the new roller vs the slide, is that just a minor difference?
Cams have adjustable mods,so no need to order 1/2 longer. It also depends on the actual set up of the string and cables how close or not it is on dead on as for draw length.
I am sure the fixed roller has more to do with marketing than with the mechanics of it.

I’m thinking the DS 33 with the SE2 cam would be a great all around option
I thought about this and asked John it wasn’t much of a bump up

The Evolve DS was a pretty lackluster release by PSE in my opinion. People complain about Mathews releasing the same bow over and over again but Ignore PSE doing the same thing with their aluminum bows. There's been very little changes in the last few years. It's basically been the same bow since the Evo XF.

If I’m honest it hasn’t changed since 2016 launch of the evolve cam. They went to a bridge riser and then went back. Over nearly a decade all we pick up a wider limbs wider cam and easier to shim.
