I actually want to see something like this machined out of a solid block of steel, with some tweaks for durability. Like a Cutthroat with a ring. I think it would be fantastically brutal on game of it was tough enough for impact.

Based off John's test, getting it to fly well could be difficult. Getting a pass-through with something like that is the other question. But a hole like that is wild!

That's going to be a hard no for me.

I'm not sure what the benefit of the ring is supposed to be, but it makes what looks like a pretty fair broadhead useless.

Even if it was machined and heat treated properly, it would still be a terrible head to live with. Fit in a quiver, sharpen, etc. Side hits on bone would be terrible as well. But I can't imagine a more humane gut shot than a literal core sample taken from the animal.

There was a similar design years ago. I like John’s broadhead reviews and have watched many. I’m not wasting my time to watch this one.
