I bought one of the new pro 2.5 to play with… I’ve fletched a few arrows so far some on a bohning tower 3° left helical and some on a ez fletch mini max left helical…. Now to see how they do. Love the cosmic green color. Hopefully these are quieter in flight than the silent knight variants I’ve shot as of late especially at the cost of them
What is the name of the brand?

Field points don’t mean as much to me. But thanks for posting up. Be curious if you plan to run broadheads. I have shot a broadhead with no vanes before so before any one says well if you have a well tuned bow it shouldn’t matter. I think to a certain extent it doesn’t. When I did it - it was 20,40 yards inside no wind I was comfortable. Not having stood for 4 hours 30 degree weather 100% humidity in thick clothing.

I’m playing with the 360X. In a 3 fletch configuration and a 4 fletch configuration. I like how bright they are. So far have been shooting some wide fixed well on the wind.

keep us posted on how these continue to do. I like how light these are at 7.7 grains vs a standard blazer is 6” and these are 1/2” longer
Did you glue these fletchings on individually?

I have used them in the past and decided to go with them on a target set up. I bought what they consider TARGET vanes. 300’s. Extremely low profile, so low I am not sure. I have not opened the pack yet. I will be shooting just indoor 300’s and a lot of that will be practicing outside in my yard. Just don’t know if these low profile vanes are tall enough to be forgiving.

Can we stop acting like FF cost $500 a pack… yes they cost more. But they are way more durable then say an AAE Hybrid or Max vane. A lot more durable.

I ran AAE Hybrids for a couple years… I refletched using those more in 2 year span then I ever have in my life. You damage one and your gonna need to refletch it. With flex fletch… throw it back on the rest and keep shooting.

Again… yes they cost more. But I’m pretty sure the extra $15 for 100 187s isn’t gonna kill me. Hybrids cost $21 and 187s cost $36 and it’s worth the extra cost.

Yeah they don’t cost $500 a pack but they are more expensive for sure. Only time I’ve had an issue with aae max vanes durability is if I shot another arrows through them. I don’t know about you but I unfortunately am the sole provider for my family on what is basically a poverty pay scale in todays times so yes an extra $15 can be an issue for me sometimes. I do find times where I can afford to test things like vanes and arrows and yes while in the long run the flex fletch may be more durable ( personally unsure as I’m relatively new to them within the last year), the extra cost may make them worth it, only time will tell for me. I’m not trying to be rude I’m just stating a fact on my personal circumstances that may not reflect your own.

I fletched up 7 arrows with 3 of the Flex Fletch 2.5 Pro vanes to experiment with. I have refrained from posting until I could be positive about their performance good or bad. I have been shooting them for a couple of weeks. Previously, I shot blazers for the last 10 years or so and before that, AAE Max hunters. nothing wrong with the blazers, I just like experimenting and tweaking my setup. I do not shoot a fixed blade broadhead, so I cannot speak to how they would do with that. I shoot Rage Extreme 2 blade broadheads. I found that the vanes shot very well with my Easton Axis 5MM arrows. They grouped well with little adjustment. I only shot them out to 50 yards. I found that they shot a little flatter than the blazers and my arrows were slamming into the target perfectly parallel. I shot them one day in about a 7-8 MPH crosswind and noticed very minimal wind drift. Just to make sure everything would be good, I did shoot 6 Rage Extremes at 50 yards and they grouped with my field points. I also appreciated how well these fletched up. I used the primer pen and glue from flex fletch and they set up very clean. Today I damaged a vane and tried to pull the other 2 off by hand and could not do it. Had to take my arrow stripping tool to it. i shoot a Ultra Rest dropaway and wanted to see if the lower height vanes would allow me to shoot cock vane down with out any contact. I shot 30 or 40 arrows with the cock vane down and never interrupted arrow flight. so, thats a bonus if you like to shoot arrows with all 3 vanes the same color. End result, I really like these vanes and they will be on my hunting setup until I find something better. Like I said, I like experimenting and looking for the next best thing.

I have always used flex fletch, a couple months ago I played around with the bohning black sky’s, which are very nice and stiff and will control any broadhead that I put to it, however I recently have been playing with the ff pro 2.5’s and I love several things about them, lighter, faster, and way quieter! I run 3 fletch with a left helical my only complaint is that they only come in a couple colors ! They have flew like darts out to 60 yds with an iron will wide so if they will control that head they will will control any. These will be my vanes for this year no doubt !

I do wish they had more colors. I typically run pink and yellow because they are typically super easy to see

Yeah, I did a couple 4 fletch and I like them even better I was shooting 3” groups at 65 yds with several different fixed blades IW wide, slick trick mags and tota xls, it did not matter what head was on the arrow they all group very well, so I will definitely be using the 4 fletch configuration this year! Really liking the 2.5 pros !!!

I have exclusively shot Flex Fletch for the last 25 years. For my fixed blade arrows I have always used the FFP 360 fletched 3 vane/Helical. Recently started shooting expandable broadheads and switched to SK 2.0 helical and great results. I'm building a new hunting arrow for fixed blade and looking for feedback on the SK 3.0 and the 360x. Sent Flex Fletch an email tonight to see if they had any feedback. I know the original FFP 360 would work great, just curious on how the SK 3.0 performs fletched helical for fixed blade in comparison.

Shoot straight!

The 360x is my favorite do everything vane. A lot stiffer than the reg 360 and just as tough. I believe it’s quieter too.

Did you shoot any broadheads with the 3 fletch? How did they shoot if you did? I know you said the 4 fletch shoot great and I don’t mind shooting a 4 fletch but I’ve been running 3 fletch mostly lately
