I'm looking into getting a new Hoyt Vantage Pro and was wondering about the quality of Fuse strings that come on them. Anyone have any good or bad experiences with them? Posted via Mobile Device

theyre really not that bad.they may stretch a lil bit after a while, just press, twist em back to spec and re-install, then they should get you by for a year easy.
There a heck of a lot better then they used to be. Bowtech has the best factory strings in my opinion. Since they started making there own they are top notch. PSE made a big jump this year with Americas Best and getting rid of those crappy strings from last year.
Thanks for the replies.
You would think that with the price of a new bow, no matter which brand, that they would have the best strings possible on them. Posted via Mobile Device
I did not like the 06 strings....lots of stretching a peep turning. I am not sure if they have remedied it on the newer bows. I put custom strings on new bows anyway regardless of brand. Good luck to you.
I had the stock fuse strings on my Vulcan and they were OK, but then I recently put on a set of Bucknasty's and I could tell the difference immediately. No twisting, and I gained about 5 fps.
they have been bad for me on a 07 vulcan baad,,ultraelite,,worse..ultratec w spirals,HORRABLE,,,after getting my AlphaMax32 set everything timed/ after about 20-30 shots the buss was creeping, added some twists, back to perfect. shot another 15-20 shots.was creeping AGAIN..i dont need any more convincing..i just replace them on any hoyt i get now.its the brownell material they use not so much the quality of the built strings
Had no luck with none of the Hoyts I have had with these strings. Standard isuue after the first two bows was to put Winners Choice Custom Strings on right out of the box. I like my equipment "Simple/Stupid", and did not enjoy messing with the strings when the peep would roll as the string stretched. Maybe not a big deal if you shoot a peep with an aligner tube. But, again you have to replace the sugical tubing and is something to fail in the feild. Put a great set of cables and string on, and never mess with or wonder what may happen when you chasing elk for a week. I have also had the Fuse string serving where it rolls over the cam wear quickly, and spread apart where you could see the string material through the serving. Some guys I know shoot'em for a year or so before they replace. But, I put alot of shot cycles on a bow in a years time, and once I set up a bow, I want to touch it as little as possible. NO STRING ISSUES WITH WINNERS CHOICE EVER has been my experience. Good Luck and hope this helps some.
The strings that I had on my katera were as durable, etc. as any but i did have to have my peep reset at least 2 times in the first few months......after that, however, they have not budged.
Just recieved my Vantage Elite on monday set it up tuesday and I was amazed with the stock strings getting it tweaked for me.I twisted the string and had NO problems with it aligning back up.shot it for the first time tonite.I was impressed with everything on the bow including the string.I am a person that replaces the string before i set a new bow up but not this one.
