Gold N Grain Archery 3-d shoot was a hit!
Just wanted to say hats off to Dave and DeAnn for hosting a great 3-d shoot on Sunday.

Great turnout!

GOLD-N-GRAIN sure did put on a good shoot this weekend!:)

Sponsored by Lancaster Archery(Rob was even there with a quiver on!) and Gander Mountain too!

Quite a few top notch semi pro shooters and a few pros attended with a bunch of other classes all thrown in!

The mens division was won by a left handed shooter who shoots a right handed bow!

He has been a friend of mine for quite a few years now, and to the best of my knowledge.....he has never even tried a left handed bow!

Anyway, congrats to Jeff Kirkland for one heck of a shooting exibition on sunday. 22 elevens out of 30 targets is a fair days work!

Best of all for Jeff this weekend was the fact that he, his wife and son all walked away from a rollover accident the day before the shoot!

Good shooting buddy, and I will see you in Pike county come november.

On the left handed bow being shot right handed just something I was told by a guy I work with  you know how that goes.Seemed kinda strange to me.Glad to hear your friend and his family weren't hurt in the accident :) .

ohio moose......I may have not been real clear in my first post.

The guy who won that shoot DOES shoot a right handed bow left handed!

I have asked him before if he wanted to try one of my bows sinse I am left handed and have the same draw length.

Jeff just likes to shoot right handed bows....go figure.:D

I knew Dave and Deanne would put on a top notch shoot. I'm sorry I couldn't make it but hope to in the years to come. That's really great that lancaster and gander mtn were involved also. Archery needs more of that.

THANKS FOR THE GOLD N GRAIN 3D SCRAMBLE

A heap'n "bushel" of thanks to Deanne & Dave McCullough, Danny, John B. and the rest of the GNG Gang in Sharpesville, Pa. for the great time they gave everyone at their 3D Scramble Shoot last weekend! They had 139 shooters and everyone was impressed by their organization, challenging target set-ups and hospitality! I'm sure that all will be back with friends again next year! We'll do everything we can to help! Heck, that's the first 3D I've shot in a while; it felt great to get out again...
Check this excellent shop out if you're in the Western Pa. or Youngstown, Ohio area; they're just off of Rte. 80 or 79.
See you next week at Snowshoe IBO Worlds!
