I'm taking "the plug" again shortly(slow learner) and I'm having some problems finding good gifts for my groomsmen.

We are all bowhunters/fisherman types and I was just wondering what some of you others have done or received.

I don't know how many guys ya got there but some of the custom knives from the makers on here would be way up on the list if I was one of them. You didn't mention a price range.

Get custom Esee Izulas (Knife) relatively inexpensive and a awesome knife! I have one and just ordered two more for my girlfriend and buddys birthday.

My buddy got us all 32 cal muzzle loading "boot" guns. They are just simple cheap pistols but they have our initials on them. They actually shoot pretty good too. Probably the coolest groomsmen gift ever, and it made for some awesome photos at the wedding!

Here is a totally different idea. There is a little tool called the Workshop Tool Sharpener, that has inter changeable sand belts for sharpening knives and tools. It does not do so good for broad heads, but really is nice and quick for knives to a razor sharp edge. It will sharpen knives, scissors, and can be used as a portable hand held belt sander for axes, etc. I got mine from Amazon for around $65 with free shipping. You can search Utube and see some demos. Would make a gift of something they are unlikely to ever get from someone else.

Congratulations on the marriage. Marriage to the right woman, when submitted to God and done His way, is an awesome deal. Been married 32 years now and it has just gotten better and better. She is really my best friend.

I was at my cousins wedding in July and her husband got all his groomsman custom duck calls with their names engraved. They are all avid duck hunters, which I thought was pretty neat. I'm sure you can imagine the reception was quite "noisy" with those guys hammering on the duck calls all night.

I got married in April and gave all my groomsmen (majority hunt and fish) engraved knives with their names. Seemed to be a big hit.
