5'11" shooting 28.5"

 

5'8" shoot 28 but am going to try out 27 i am leaning a bit too much...i have long arms for my height too...arms of a 5'10" or 5' 11" guy

 

6'7" shooting a 31"DL mission voyager!

 

Height and draw length having nothing to do with each other-------to a point. We are all built different, I've seen customers that are very short but have long arms and I've had customers that are tall but short arms. Fit the bow to the person not any chart.:wink:

OK, I've been shooting my x-force ss, which only goes down to 27". I measure from my thumb to corner of mouth at 27". The guy at a bow shop today, said I was 24 1/2"?????

i think you add 1.75 to that measurement!

 

5'9" with 28.5" draw at 70lbs on Mathews Dxt

 

I'm 5'6", the crook of my thumb to the corner of my mouth is 27"?///

 

Im 5'8" and 27" but some bows run long and sometimes shoot 26.5. At a guess Id say you might be around 26". Stand near a wall and make a fist with bow hand and put it against wall standing like your going to shoot. Now measure from wall to corner of mouth. That should be close.

 

6'3", 29" dl, AM35

 

6'3" shooting 30" draw, measure out to 32"

 

6'6" shooting 31.5 draw.
Measure 33 inches at the bow shop.

 

OK, from fist on wall, to corner of mouth, 26 1/2", middle finger, to middle finger 62" Any more equations???? I also have a d-loop barely big enough to have arrow nock, and release in, x-caliper jr release, snug!!

Dang, you guys have short draw lengths. I know a few people who are only 5 foot, 6 six inches and maybe 5 foot, 8 inches tall and have 30 inch draw lengths.... Of course you can't tell anything either.

 

OMG, 5'6" and 30". Must be one of those guys that can do that thing wth his back turned that looks like he's making out with someone else!!!:mg::wink:

Could be broad shoulders but I am only 5'10 1/2 and shoot 30" draw. Have had two pro shops check me. Was shooting 31" with fingers.

Thats me. Draw a compound to 30" anchored under my chin, nose on string. Draw a recurve to 31" anchoring corner of mouth, yep, I'm 5'10" and 65 yrs old. :thumbs_up

 

We sell a Speed Grip that is 1 inch torque free and allows you to increase the bows draw length; shoot faster while keeping your natural draw length the same and gaining 10 to 15 fps. e.g., if you are a 26 dl and add the Speed Grip, adjust your cams or module by an inch, you are now a 27 dl while the bow still fits you as if you were still shooting 26 dl. Thanks!! I will look into that. I do have this snakey looking grip thing I got from cabelas on the ss, because it was so cold here late season, I couldn't touch my bow, and I was trying to "warn it up" some. I actually do like the way it cushions the bow in my hand.:embarres::smow::smow::smow:

 

I am 5'11" and shoot 28.5" draw. I use a carter thumb release so I could .5" inch longer draw from a wrist strap.

 

5'10" w/ 29in draw

 

I'm 6' 1 1/2" tall i measured my wing span at 71" if i divide this by the 2.5 i get 28.4. If i stretch a little i get 72" = 28.8". I was shooting a Hoyt with the Z3 cam at 28.5" measured the draw with a arrow and got 28 7/8" to the burger hole. I do shoot a 1/2" loop.

 

6'5" and was shooting 33, backed down to 32. my knuckles get sore dragging all the time.

 

5'8" and shooting 27.5

Used to shoot 28 or 28.5 and never new any better. Went to test a bow and they had it at 27.5 and it felt so much better.

 

I am 5'10 and shoot 28.5-29.

I believe Chris White (top pro) is about 6' 4-5" and shoots 29 inch draw so height may have as much effect on draw length as eye colour.
