How to hang bow on public land

This year, I will be trying public land for the first time. The law states you can't use pegs that drill into the tree to hold your bow like I normally do on private land. I won't have a chance to make it back out there until I go to hunt so I won't be able to install one of the "fork" type platform bow holders. I know this sounds far-fetched, but I was wondering if you guys know any tricks to hold my bow without holding it the whole hunt and without either of these holders. I'm down to try anything, so if it sounds stupid and it works, it ain't stupid.

They make a strap style 4 hook bow/accessory holder. Same thing here in MO, no screw in steps/hooks on public ground. I got one years ago at Bass Pro. I accidentally left it attached 20" up a tree on a public land island along the MO river I had canoed out to. Still there I just can't remember which tree it was!

I personally don't like to take in extra gear and have extra setup time. I put the bow holder right on the stand and wrap my rope around it so it's right there......no extra stuff. I do move around a LOT so that makes a big difference.

The bow is right there when I need it.

My friend got a written warning in Pa for using a screw in bow hanger about 3-4 years ago so I won't use one because I know Pa is strict on this rule. I made a strap mount hanger very similar to HME or the one posted above. I'd like a slightly longer arm so I may just buy one though.

As hunters, we manage these lands for the state or county, pay license fees, support local businesses by buying hunting supplies, donate meat to food shelters, etc. We really do a lot. I am constantly picking up garbage and basically taking care of these chunks of lands like many of us do. I watch as the dnr lease these lands to telephone pole companies that cut down every straight tree in sight. If I wanna screw in a little bow holder I will do just that and shouldn't have to look over my shoulder in the process.
