How good are these strings ? Would you replace with Vapor trail or other string ?

Try shooting them for a while and if you have no peep alignment (turning) problems then I would say they're fine.

If you're having problems with peep alignment or stretch, I would definitely recommend Vapor Trails. They have a proprietary string material that will not stretch and will only require a few shots to get your peep aligned (mine never moved from the start).

I started this same thread a week or so ago. I usually just switch out to Vapor Trails right away, but many folks have convinced me to give the new Fuse strings a try...so I will do just that.

Fuse on my Kat from early 08 was no good. Never quit streching.

My AM35 have about 200 shots now and my I had to turn my string 1/2 a turn.

From the looks of it , it is far better than 08 fuse. Its early days but I might leave it on the bow.

Junk - the fuse strings on my girlfriends '08 hoyt kobalt just wont stop streching. We shoot alot and every week we've had to put the back in time. The bow is 6 months old and has been shoot quite a bit in the last two months. So we have to re-time the cams at least once a week. I know the bow is a mid-range bow and probably got mid-range fuse strings. However never again will i use fuse strings. She ordered custom strings last week and they should be in tomorrow.

Junk. Vectrix and Katera's string were terrible. Friends AM already has some fuzzing after 200 shots. He's getting some VT's put on as we speak. Hoyt makes some of the best bows, but can't for the life of me understand why they can't get a decent string made.

hoyt strings

the last time I visited the hoyt factory 6 years ago the strings were made in house they have several automatic string making machines. I watched the strings being laid out twisted and served. they were not prestreched. a employe would instal the strings relax the bow press which was a hydralic controled useing a foot pedal. take a measurment put a twist here and there. it was all done in a few seconds and on the rack it would go. if your ever in salt lake and have some time to spend you can get a tour. tried also to get a tour of easton which is a block away but you had to make a app.

fuse strings

I have had many fuse strings come on my bows and they are pure junk not worthy of the bows they come on too much stretch noise and rotatation fuzzing and not the greatest servings I don't even keep them as back ups. I will only use extreme bowstrings in brownell astro flight material best string made for any among of money andstill cheap at $60-$70 for string and both cables in any colors you want dan is one of the nicest and most knowledgeable string makers I know his products are world class in my opinion I've shot justabout evey brand of string and cables there is and you can't do any better than extreme bowstrings. Look them up u wont be sorry u can also send him your bow if u want. He will build and install your custom strings and tune your bow and u will be amazed look up extreme bowstring u wont be sorry

The Fuse on my Hoyt Charger came with already 1 strand loose. The thing fuzzes up pretty bad, especially near the cable guide. Shop guy asked me to serve that portion, i think i'll just save my cash and buy new strings soon.

About 1000 shots in, there was terrible creep, Peep was off to the left, BH was off by .25" and poundage dropped by 10#. Servings are separating all over the place, it's just frustrating.

My charger is a 2014 model, so if this is considered an improvement, i cringe at the thought of what they were before they "improved"
