post a few pics showing details of the riser, limbs, cams etc... L/R sides- close up, front/back limbs

Here's my situation I bough a 2015 CST 350 and I ran numbers thru arrow calculator for grain and weight and it was supposed to be 450 grain @ 302, but when I chrono my arrow today it was 290 FPS so I ran numbers through calculator for the CS 30 ATA 332 it came out the same as the chrono. So I think th wrong bow was ordered. So instead of calling my guys at my shop out I was wanting to research this on my own. Didn't want to cause a ruckus. They are good people. I just wanted to check it by the serial number. I have a pic but it's a good pic of bow but can't read the information on inside of the bottom limb. I'd rather research myself ya kno. I sent Hoyt a email. If anyone has capability of running my serial number, like a dealer I would appreciate your help

That's definitely a carbon spyder .... now measure the axle to axle and the brace height and look on cams to see what model they are and you can find out what model and year carbon spyder you got

you just need to tune the bow.

remember, calculators aren't 100% accurate, they just get you reasonably close. Unless you're setting up for IBO and on the given/high side, you're numbers will likely be off.

also, chronographs are not always equal.

View attachment 2160724 View attachment 2160724 I gotcha, That's all good advice, and I thank you, I've traded a CE G3 RKT for the bow and it's still at the dealer(layaway) so I've got to call or either wait for Hoyt to respond to serial number. I've been going to my dealer for about 7 years and I've both 4 bows from him top shelf guy, Yea I know that calculators aren't 100% for sure with reality. I probably should've mentioned this as well. he didn't have my DL in stock but had some on order but he said they were 28" DL CST 350 fps and that they could change the modules for 29.5" modules. I pulled up the tune charts for 2015 Carbon Spyder turbo 350 and their are some big differences in Axle to axle and brace height & strings and cables. So does changing the module for my DL affect the speed. I did replace the new strings with winners choice 452X string/cables. Does the modules or strings/cable affect the outcome. And honestly I researched heavier arrows for about a week and not to worried about sacrificing the speed for the KE/MOM of the heavier arrow. And 290 fps is fine I just wanted some advice. heres the tune chart. if I did it right

do strings effect arrow velocity...yes. Different thread counts, different materials can have an effect on velocity of the arrow.

does draw length effect arrow velocity...yes, about 5% per inch-- test DL is 30".

The dealer has no access to serial numbers and no one on here does. Hoyt is the only one that has the information your looking for. If speed is your only reason for thinking you have the wrong bow I would say your worring about nothing. You have changed the string and cables and it sounds like your bow is not tuned back in------but that is total speculation as you have not given enough information about the bow to give a solid answer. There is a tag on the lower limb that gives you the proper string and cable lengths, poundage of the bow. If your going off axle to axle and brace that is approximate measuerments at the best and depending on draw length they can vary.
Too many unanswered things. That 350 IBO is a turbo model, if it is a regular Spyder then it is IBO 332. It will clearly state turbo on the front of the limbs in bold letters.
Sounds like you have trusted this dealer why aren't you asking him these questions??????

This can't be real (I hope) its says turbo on the limbs and on the cams! A turbo is also 33in long not 30, if you can't tell which one it is I sure wouldn't tell nobody!

Im not sure where you are at with poundage and draw length now, but my Nitrum Turbo is getting about the same speed (290) with a 431 grain arrow. Im at 28.5 draw and 65 pounds with a stock string and yet to get a really good tune. With a loop and peep on the string that is right at IBO according to OnTarget software. My CS30 from last year is a good 20fps slower.

While I appreciate most of these posts. I just didn't loose at the limbs and cams. That's my bad. For sure. I do know where all the info some of you are saying to look is. I do trust my guy and have spent several thousand dollars with him over the years. I'm not unhappy with the speed the calculations and ot software results were different that's all. I just wanted opinions from others not to be told I'm idiot. I've been shooting bows for 10 years, and I'm no pro 4 sure I tend to over think things sometimes. My shop always does a good job with tuning my bows

These are a couple examples so to some kma and to some thx for your advice. I normally buy the the 29" draw length bow but the order he got was all 28" DL bows and they changed the modules to fit my 29.5" DL. Never had to change the modules before. I called to buy a bow and they said they were out and the shop had a order placed before I decided to buy and then th order came in and all the turbos were 28" DL.

View attachment 2161920 View attachment 2161920 Ok boys, men. This is a turbo. Speed results didn't come out to be the same as on target and a few othe calculators for arrow speed. They were 300-302 FPS and actually chrono 1 arrow only 294 FPS. Thx to all that gave good advice and to the others NC.
