I currently have s somewhat cheap pair of under armour boots in black but I'm thinking about upgrading later this year. I've heard lacrosse are good and I've heard of danner but what are your favorite boots and why.

This is the most important question to be asked as well as where are you from? What climates are you hunting....

Spot and stalk - I am a HUGE Han Wag fan. I have the Tyst GTX boots and absolutely love them. Heard great things about Crispi's as well. If on more of a budget, some of the lowas will give good quality for a cheaper price.

Treestand sits in cold weather, to me, nothing beats an insulated rubber boot. If I am not doing spot and stalk, I only put on my artic muck boots and haven't once had cold or wet feet.

The best boots are the ones that are a perfect fit for your feet. There are many quality boots but until you put some miles on them you will not know if your feet are happy. I have tried several and my feet are happiest with Danner and Merrell boots. Good Merino Wool socks are just as important as boots.

Lacrosse Aerohead with 7mm insulation. I like warm dry feet while on stand. These are good from cool to as cold as it gets here in PA. Plus the rubber is good for scent control. If I’m going to be hiking or driving deer in gun season I wear my Limmer Standard hikers with a gaiter. Can walk all day in them in the roughest of terrain. Have a pair of Muck Wetlands that I occasionally wear on warmer days.

Don't go with tidewe , i ordered some mostly because i liked that they supported the beast . The boots that arrived looked like the picture except the tread depth was less then the muck boots im trying to replace . They said i cant return them because i tried them on . I gave them to my father to wear when he picks up dog **** ,that's all they're good for. I'll end up getting dryshod .

Hikers I use the Danner Alsea they have been great for me for the past 2 seasons. Rubber boots I just got the Lacrosse Alphaburly and used them this past season when I needed to. So far they are my favorite rubber boot I've had, a lot more comfortable than all the others I've tried.
