I looked at the thread title and then the OP and its taken this long to get up enough nerve to open it.

And you solved the mystery as to why there is a zip tie that came on a bow I bought used - I figured the seller put it on there so it didn't fall out during shipping . He may have lost a nipple at some point too haha

A quick google search of your problem turned up these.

Being that they’re about $40 more than the basic plastic ones, I’m pretty sure they’re Mathews approved.

Well, technically it’s my bow’s nipple. Why do they even put these on a hunting bow? It literally didn’t last a day, which is not surprising considering how they attach

I serve mine in on the bottom. Couple looks of servicing material and I’m set.

i tie mine in with serving thread on 3 sides. mine is still there. on all my mathews.
