Hello folks! First time poster, longtime lurker.
Just wanted some insight and maybe someone to answer some questions I have for an upcoming trip to the Rend Lake area. A couple a buddies and I are coming for a 8-9 day public land adventure Nov4 - Nov13 and I’m just curious what all is actual huntable land around Rend Lake and what kind of special permits you may need for certain areas. I can’t really find any clear answer on somethings like the army corps areas and just random state land looking at Mapping apps.
If anybody familiar with the area or more in the know and rules and regulations wouldn’t mind PMing me a run down of some good ideas and maybe dos and donts, I can assure you it would be appreciated. I’m not looking for any honey holes or anything of the like. We are on a DIY excursion. All of us are chasing that P&Y dream. They just don’t get as big in the panhandle of FL.
Many thanks in advance for any help or advice. Happy Halloween!
