Doesn't look good , i just visited the web site and no mention of shows . It would advertise channels and air times. I also enjoy their work , now were stuck with mostly high dollar celebs and such .

 

I saw a program a few months ago where the father and son showed some of their hunts back from the 80's. I remember watching one where the father got on the opposite side of the deer from his son and they showed the shot in slow motion. It was really cool seeing the arrow come off the string and go through the deer. Those were some good videos back in the day. Now it seems they are more concerned with pushing their faith, rather than entertaining and educating bowhunters.

 

Nothing wrong with that. They are doing what they feel is right in their heart.

 

God, I hope they're gone for good. Talk about creepy.

I can tell you they are no longer on the Sportsman channel.
And I know they are not on the OutDoor Channel.
I do not get the Pursuit channel, so maybe they moved there? But I dont think they are on tv at all anymore.

I love the Fitzgerald videos. They are exemplary people and excellent hunters.
I appreciate that they get it done without releases and sights. They don't misrepresent their hunts with high fence ranches.
I also like their products. I would not go in the deer woods without Deer Dander. I use VK too!

 

Im sorry they do hunt HF ranches one is Wilderness in TN. sorry you missed that call they have hunted a couple of HF places in TX as well

 

I've heard good things about their early videos, but the last shows I saw were really bad. It is not surprising they are no longer on TV.

I do not know the Fitzgeralds, but I have heard quite different things about them from different people. I would love to know the truth about them, because there are two totally different stories that are told about them. They have hunted with people with a questionable past, but that does not mean anything, because we all have done things wrong and hung out with people with a questionable past. How many people actually know them well because I would like to know the truth? I am by no way bashing them, but there are those that definitely do. Is it jealousy or something else on why people bash them. Do they bash them because they preach their faith?

 

Looks like that "pushing the faith" thing worked out for them.
Lot's of time now to do so with no shows to produce.

i did like the fitzgerald folkrod hog hunt tapes, i use to rent them back in the vhs rental days, you know ur lame when u rent hunt tapes

 

Maybe Bob Folkrod is a member here, maybe he could give us some info on the Fitzgeralds. I think he would be an excellent source on why the Fitzgeralds do not have a show anymore. I wonder why he was never on the show?

 

I have some old tapes and dvds of the Fitzgeralds, better than any hunting shows on tv over the last 10yrs or so. The Fitz boys actually made an attempt to teach and explain.

 

i loved the one where 2 bucks are fighting in the corn and hes in a tripod and i think the hit it by accident.
