is the PSE Drive NXT any good?

Hi all,

Is the PSE Drive NXT a good mid range bow? the ATA, brace height, DL, adjustability and IBO speed seem to suggest its an excellent all-rounder at a mid price range.

The ZF cams seem to get a really good write up too. But I'm surprised I don't see more hype or more product reviews out there in comparison to other mid range bows. The PSE Embark, which looks to be virtually the same bow (except for a smaller ATA and a little faster) gets the attention over the Dive NXT, I'm assuming because of the Nock-on signature adjustments.

Just thought I would ask if anyone has any specific thoughts on this bow and/or if there's another bow out there with a similar spec and price tag (even if its a different brand) that would be considered a better choice either because of build quality, performance or anyone's subjective thoughts on the 'feel' of the bow?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Thank You

It's a decent bow, I have an embark which is the same thing, just different stickers. Good brace height, decent speed, holds well, and the zf cam is smooth. The negatives I have are fixed let off and a 31" ata. Absolutely nothing wrong with it, just doesn't have all the bells and whistles as the flagship bows.

Fantastic bow for any money. My buddy loves his. Tuned up very nicely for me, and I’m left handed. 58 lbs, 30.5” draw, 445 grn arrow does 280 fps. Other than plastic limb pockets, the only thing you give up is adjustable letoff. It’s fixed @80%.

Honestly its probably the best mid range bow. It shoots lights out next to my evo nxt. Its simple and easy to shoot not to mention fast. I like it better than its brother the embark due to longer ata and lower stab mount. It is going to be my elk rig due to the lower overall weight. Its one of those sleeper bows that didn’t get a lot of pub in my opinion.
