Is there a difference between bowtech qad and regular hdx?

Just picked up a brand new Prodigy today from a local shop that’s closing up for good. He didn’t have many rest left so I ended up just putting a regular hdx on it. Got home with it and noticed the launcher is touching the shelf when fully deployed and arrow is running little higher than center of Berger hole. Thought I read the bowtech rest have a deeper fork to help with that. Before I ordered one I just wanted to make sure this will help. Thanks

I think the only difference in the actual rest is where it mounts to the riser. You can get the plastic launcher with the deeper cut and put it on the rest you have and it should do the same thing. I forget the number for the launcher but if you didn't get a couple different ones with your rest I think you can get the one you need from qad.

The branded versions normally have a custom mounting arm. A QAD Ultra will not fit right on my PSE, because the keeper rod hits the rider. PSE version has a curved mounting arm that solves that problem. Also adds a little tab on the mounting arm that fits a slot on the riser to make it more stable. All other features are same as HDX.

Hi....the launcher you are looking for is the LW1. This has a deeper groove to accommodate a larger diameter shaft. On the QAD, you want to set the arrow up perpendicular to the string running through the middle to upper 1/3 of the berger hole. If you do not have this then you may want to redo you nock in point. A normal QAD launcher arm is just fime...I have 7 HDX s set up on all bowtechs right now and only have to use the LW1 to accommodate a 23 or larger diameter. Hope this helps. Cheers!
