:embara::embara::embara: okay guys, i am a little embarresed here:embara::embara::embara:

i am really working on my form and back tension. one problem i really have am having is keeping my wrist straight. straight AND relaxed is hard to put together, and a bent wrist is slack in the system.

anyone with any tips or pointers to keeping my wrist straight as my back pulls through? do i HAVE TO angel my hand upward? that seems to help. i was actually thinking about buying a brace that immobilizes the wrist. anybody ever try it?

yes

I may have mis-read, but I believe he is talking about his release hand. Maybe I am just confused though.
yes. i am talking about my draw arm wrist. sorry i didn't clarify that. to the guy who thought it was possiby my draw length, good thought but i know it isn't that. if anythingit is a little short. holding my release at an angle is helping some, but i have to think about it throughout the shot.

bingo

Are you still holding your release the "Wise" way? If so try to go more vertical, put the back of your hand against your face at full draw and see if that straightens things out.
hahahaha. how did you know i was doing it like Larry Wise? i think that is what you meant. good observation Loujo. man you are a big help. i must say i FINALLY got the process of "Back Tension" pretty well nailed down. i think now it is going to be a matter of repetition, repetition, and even more repetition. THEN, i am going to have to repeat it thousands of times more before i go to a target. but it feels good to know i am doing it properly. at least i THINK i am. i was way overdoing it. taking a little break really helped. i had my muscles so darn fatiqued they wouldn't work. now i need to lengthen my draw length too.
