Which one should I choose, going to the shop tomorrow to trying to decide? Just like different opinions!

Pick the one you like best. I, personally, don't like either. Don't limit yourself to specific models or brands. Shoot all in your budget, you might be surprised what you come home with.

Then go to other shops. That's a lot of money to drop on something you may not like over the long haul. I know, I bought a Mathews as my second bow, after my Diamond. It wasn't great at first, but hey, it's a Mathews so it has to be the best. Never did get to liking it. Hated shooting it. Went from 30 arrows a day with my Diamond, to a dozen a week with the Mathews. Had to force myself to shoot it. So I've learned, spend time trying as many bows as possible. Don't settle because of a brand, or convenience.

Hoyt Alpha X-33

Here's why, the Lift and the Mach 30 are the bows that all the influencers and big companies say are the best of 2024.

However all the archers I deal with through my shop and visits to TAC and shops in my area have said the Hoyt is the best all around bow of 2024 followed by the new Elites, then Bowtech, then Darton.

Having shot them all, I have to agree, for hunters and archers the Hoyt is just a better all around bow.

The Lift and Mach 30 are great though and I'd be happy owning either one. But if I had to choose just one, it's the Hoyt.

Choose wisely friend.

The closest shop I have is an hour and they are only Matthews and Bear. I drove an hour and a half to test shoot Hoyt and Elite. I’d personally drive 5-6 hours if I had to and make a weekend if it. Take the Mrs. After test shooting and maybe buying, take her out to eat and go to your Airbnb or hotel. Fun road trip. Good luck

Super easy answer - Mach. Not even close. Way better draw cycle and overall experience plus no worries about the flimsy 8 legged spider limbs that keep cracking on people. My Levitate (32” version of Mach 30) with the EC cam is easily the best bow I’ve ever owned and I’ve owned a lot of them.

Look at and shoot as many as possible. I would recommend a bow with a longer ata though. I bought the lift 29.5, it was my first bow under 32" ata. Lower cam bearing went out in less 3 months, 400 shots. I have a short draw and low poundage, (27", #55 mods),chased a little speed and a little less weight and now regretting not getting the 33". I'm a Mathews fan boy but glad they come with a lifetime warranty. Make sure it's the right bow for you.

You really need to not just shoot them and base everything on feelings. The 30X and 33X Hoyt just didn’t shoot the way I wanted to at 50 and 60 yards.

Once I seen the lift have issues I got rid of both of them before I even tried for groups

Swapped to the Mach 30 groups immediately got better. Seeing how a bow feel is only part of it. If you can check and see how a bow actually shoot for you at distance is way more important accuracy and precision over everything else

Well you all might be right! I’m currently shooting an 07 model PSE XForce and while it has been an awesome bow and I have recovered every deer that I have shot with it, the 65% let off is making it tough on my shoulders to shoot like I like to! I know I could lower the poundage but I’m only shooting 63lbs and the bow just shoots very well there. I have no problems pulling the poundage and could easily pull more but I feel I need less holding weight. Anyways thanks for all the comments, I’ll stop by and see what my shop has and then make a decision based off how they feel! If not satisfied I’ll consider a road trip to find one! God Bless

Well now that you say this…..if shoulder issues are a concern you DEFINITELY need to find a place to test shoot the Alpha X. Google and find a dealer that carries all of them and go compare. I guarantee you for ease of draw, the Alpha X probably beats everything on the market from what I’ve heard. And as an owner of one I can tell you they draw SMOOTH. It compares to my 2012 Martin with Nitro cams in draw cycle and if your not familiar with those, the Nitro cam from Martin was an extremely smooth drawing speed cam in the day with no stack and dump. Good luck

Lots of great bows on the market. I wouldn’t narrow it down to the two you mentioned. I bought an RX8 and it’s a great shooting bow. Like stated go to different shops even you have to drive a few hours. Good luck and post up your new bow once you decide.
