4.8lbs isn't to bad, if you can draw 85lbs with no issues, i think the bare bow weight is minor lol. :teeth:

 

Hi, I if I may say, I think the Safari is just like a MR6, but with better finishes and more power in pounds.
From my view is simply design.

That bow looks awesome and I would absolutely LOVE to have one, BUT 2100.00? :mg: HOLY COW!!! That's alot of money for a bow!!! Guess I am left to simply dream....:sad:

I like the riser......however, I think they should have stuck with the standard cut-outs on the cams rather than the honeycomb cutouts. The cams don't look quite right

 

I hope Mathews comes out with that grip on their future bows. I might be able to own one.:wink:

As for the riser; it just looks beefed up for those 85 lbs limbs IMO>

 

The difference from a Monster 6 definitely do not justify the price. MAYBE if the honeycomb riser/cams were carbon it would be acceptable, even then it would be a lot. Lots of Mathews guys will buy it just because it is released though.

 

Id take a MR6 over a safari myself...

Not bashing or anything, but if the honeycomb cutouts are supposed to so strong, why do they have to beef it up and make it weigh almost 5lbs!?

Don't personally care for the riser that's twice as thick as a normal riser. It makes it look like it's a 25in a-t-a bow.

Just my opinion of course.

I think the price is outrageous in these economic times but i would love to see Mathews use that riser design for a new target bow. It will be a very stiff riser with minimal flex and would be great on a 38-40" ata bow. Lets hope they have the same vision i have lol.

 

I think Mathews is smokin a crack pipe ! almost 5lb, and $2100.00 !!!!! I have a hard time spending $1000.00 on a bare bow let alone $2100.00. This thing better come with a automatic target bullseye hitter that let's you know exactly when to pull the trigger on your release. These are my thought's.
