Looking for recommendations for hip waders for the mobile pack in and out hunter. Looking for something light, small and I can pack and use when needed! I’ve heard people doing diy carpenter trash bags but I’d rather buy something

Maybe not what you are looking for, but Dan's Frog Legs are a hip wader/briar proof chaps that are sewn and sealed onto rubber or neoprene boots of your choosing. They can be worn all the time in the up position or slid down and snapped low for the walk in and raised when needed. I have a pair and love them for Creek crossings, swamp hunting and busting through briars scouting.
I would love the same but never know how deep the river will be or the bottom will change. Was up to my belly today so hip waders ain't gonna do it. I just stash A pair of waders i nthe bushes BUT I get paranoid something will chew a hole in them. Hasn't yet in the last 6 years but just waiting for it
I have a set of chota hip waders that I use and love. The waders are stocking foot and I have their boots as well. Best thing about them is you can roll them up or down as needed
I'd try Dan's Frog Legs or if you want a cheap light pair the Frogg Toggs Rana but not sure on the durability of those
