looking at the scentblocker whitetail pursuit parka, nomad conifer, cabelas wooltimate jacket, or drake non typical stand hunter silencer jacket. all expensive gear and need some input from anyone with any experience with any of these. i live in northern michigan so ill be layering up too but need something that has better windproofing. my old cabelas whitetail series fleece is warm till the wind blows and its bulky and shrinking every year. ill be getting bibs too. out of these, which you think is the warmest garments?

I like how not one response above actually mentioned any of the gear you asked about! Haha! The Sitka fanatic is great but of what you listed the cabelas wooltimate is very warm. Not sure they still sell it though as I’ve been trying to by a wooltimate vest for a year now and it’s always out of stock

Don’t nbiy first light. Their stuff falls apart and they don’t stand behind it. Bought a pair of their wool pants. Thin and not durable. Tore on second time out. They told me their stuff is not warranted for field use. Guy was also pretty rude. Kept telling me I was interrupting him. Kuiu is much better quality and they are always nice. They stand behind their stuff also. Same for scentloc. First lite is way overpriced for a product that is fragile and a warranty that sucks.

thanks for all the replies everyone. all those companies have im sure great stuff but id have to mortgage my house for their merchandise. i cant justify 600 to 1000$ unless im getting paid to wear it. ive seen the wooltimate stuff on ebay and looks like great stuff. can get some deals there too. i think anything with windproof layers and some primaloft or thinsulate will be better than my old stuff. ill keep looking
