What’s the word on the new Black Eagle stock nocks? I’ve had Spartans and rampages before and never really liked the old R nock. Been using the GT Accutough nocks. Just recently ordered a new doz Spartans and saw the notice on LAS that they might have new nocks. I already purchased AAE IP nocks to try out and the new BEA nock is very similar to the AAE. A lot shorter than the old R nock and feels a lot more sturdy.

I really liked the way they felt and shot as well, this past season a was shooting BE Rampages again and had a lot of them crack at the nock end using accutoughs. On one hand the Rampage shafts are a lighter GPI so they’re a little thinner anyway, and on the other hand I have to think that the extra length of the GT nock has a little bit to do with the cracks in the shaft since it has more leverage with the nock groove being further away from the end of the shaft. I just briefly saw one in a shop the other day for the .244 arrows. Looks like following the new trend for shorter nocks and quick release or smooth release throats. Sort of like Eastons new micro lite nock. The idea is to get the string closer to the shaft end, and the throat shorter and have less tendency to hang on to the string as much.

Got a dozen of the micro lite nocks with some 6.5 arrows, and man they are tighter than a virgin transgender on his first date...on my Threadz string. Switched them to bohnings and the world was at peace again

These nocks are made by Firenock. It is the replacement nock for their lighted nock. Just use the nock with no battery. They are the most consistent nock that I’ve found. They fit the bushing for the G nock. Give them a try. You’ll be glad that you did. Kinda expensive but Deorge makes quality products.

I just got some carnivores with the new nocks and was comparing them the other day. They new ones are lighter 7.7-7.9 grains vs 10.2-10.3 grains. They new ones are .010 wider at the throat, which was starting to pinch on my set up. The old nocks seem to "snap" on the string louder and tighter. I ran the same arrow through the chronograph with each nock a few times, speeds stayed the same. I can also pull the new ones out of the arrow by hand because the portion that sits in the arrow is .120 shorter. The old ones I have to use pliers.

I too have had the old ones start to crack on occasion, I inspect them regularly.
