Hey all of you NJ folks (close to the Hudson),

Where in the world do you go to shoot beyond 20-25 yards? Indoor spots are all limited to the aforementioned ranged, and it seems that a lot of ranges outside are either not open until April or require a 2hr+ drive. Anyone have any recommendations or advice on getting some long range shots in?

Thanks!

There is a county park range near me in Long Island thats open year around but you have to bring your own target so maybe look for something like that in your area.

Not many indoor ranges go past 20. Its why I focus on sending 30 arrows into a spot the size of a quarter a al vegas rounds indoors during the winter.

The place to go is Lincoln Park Archers, they are located in Montville, NJ. Website is lincolnparkarchers.com or LPA.com.
indoor range downstairs is 20yds, upstairs you can shoot out to 40yds and they have an elevated spot you can shoot from. Also upstairs is a broad head target.
Then they have an outdoor range, goes back to 80yds. Also have broad head target outside.
They hold three 3D shoots a year. There is a lot more. The cost is $100.00 a year. You can shoot from 6am until midnight every day of the year. Check out there website.
