I am loving this set up my RX7 was awesome but with a 30” draw this RX8 Ultra seems to fit me a lot better. Grouping at 20 yards was very tight for only shooting for 30 minutes.

I am thoroughly impressed with the RX8 ultra. I have a 28.5” DL and the geometry is perfect for shooting spots and 3D for me. I set mine up for TAC and can’t wait to put her to use in GA. Just wait until you get to pull the sheets back and shoot it out over 60 yards. For me that’s when the specs of this bow really come together. Shooting 350 grain RIP XV at longer ranges with the ultra is VERY gratifying. After TAC I’m tempted to set her up for my VTAC 23s and shoot some ASA with it. One suggestion I have is to keep an eye on the cable serving where it wraps around the cam. My stock cables did not hold up very well in that particular spot. Hopefully my new set will hold up better. Congrats on the new bow!!

Got mine a week ago.
Straggled with a left throw(nock right), turns out it’s mostly my grip..
I guess the new grip on this bow has different pressure point on my hand competed to my previous bow.
I’ve figured I need at least 100+ shots for the string&cables to settle before doing any real tuning and so it was.
Slight cam timing, minor rest tune, and a perfect bare shaft at 20yrd.

The main difference between the rx8 and rx7 is in the cams. The riser is the same, maybe with a few different colour options. The cams are more adjustable in draw length and you can customize your back wall. This year they also added a nub on the cams that go hand in hand with their go sticks, so when you set the bow down the cam isn't in the dirt.
