Yes I have... and I don't remember why it is that I don't anymore.... Might have been a slap on the wrist or something.... :grin:... I know use a personally cut piece of leather formed into a tab that has been soaked in oil and dried... but I have spares that I've rubbed lanoline into until saturated that are soft and easy to shoot as well.

Got em on my kids bows. Easier for them with their little fingers. Also good for bowfishing but overall, I would not use them on my bow.

Why is it that you woudn't use them on your own bows?

BTW, I see you are in the U.P. How 'bout sending me some pasties. I had a freezer full from my last trip up there in May but they are nearly gone!

They increase side to side paradox, and make it harder to tune.

 

They are great for bowfishing or for kids just starting, but otherwise they make it too hard to tune a bow. The rubber "sticks" and catches on your fingers upon release, instead of the slick release you will get with a tab or glove.
