I have an Onieda Areoforce in good, shooting condition. I was wondering if anyone could give me a fair price range I should ask for such a thing. (No, this is not a classified posted in the wrong section. I want to know the value of my bow.)

My guess is around a couple hundred bucks. I have one that is 15 years old which I took over last year from my dad as he bought the mathews z7. I used it all last year but in July my timing cable broke which cost $97 dollars to replace. I made it through the bow season, killed 2 deer with it, but when my winter league started in january that cable broke again. i decided that this must just be because it was an old bow and rather than spend that much money every 6-8 months I wanted to upgrade. I called Oneida, I only live a couple hours from there place, and they told me they would give me 400 dollars on a trade in for it, if and only if I bought the brand new model which i believe was the kestral regardless it was far more money than I could afford being a full time college student. I decided to just pay and have it fixed again, and make it a bowfishing rig. I then bought a bowtech as my upgrade.

I used mine for bowfishing last summer, but I am looking to upgrade. Those limbs scare the crap out of me being on my boat. I smacked my leg with it one time when I was hunting ground squirrels...dang thing got away. I posted it on a local classified site for 250. I figure someone can always talk me down. Thanks for the response.

$75 to $100 I wouldn't pay any more than that. Also do you have or know someone that knows how to work on them? they are not your usual compound to work on. More than likely you could wind up putting about another $100 into it if it needs to be adjusted(timing and draw length) and usually those older bows need new rockers also------that's a tear down.

I had it checked up about 200 arrows ago. It got a new string and everything tightened up and timed right.

Your aeroforce in good shooting condition is worth 200 dollars. We can help you or anyone else with an oneida over the phone or on our website www.oneidabows.net. We also have a charts/manuals/classifieds section as well as a service video you can watch if you need to work on your bow showing step by step instructions at http://www.oneidabows.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=4788

Your best buyer is probably going to be a bowfisher. I would say that the value is probably right around $200, seems that is what I paid for the two I have.
You can still get parts for them which is nice. Actually just re-build a strike-eagle tonight for a buddy of mine after he blew one of the cables out fishing last week.
