Im looking for suggestions on a good portable outdoors chair. Id prefer a stand a lone unit so I can use it ice fishing. But want something portable enough I can carry it to the hunting blind. Last weekend we walked over 20 miles of steep terrain at 8,000 ft while hunting.

Bonus if its available at cabelas or bass pro. I have some work safety bonus gift cards to blow.

I really like the swivel chair made by Blackout at Cabelas, about $120 but it is hands down the most warm comfortable and quiet chair in that price range I have used. The one with the padding, they make a cheaper one but that cushioning makes it easy to stay all day. I have a Barronett Blind chair that is for sale on marketplace because I sat in the blackout after I got it put together, way more comfortable.

I have a couple of old Double Bull blind chairs that have the triangle shaped seats. I've had them for years and my boys and I have used them many times out of a fabric ground blind or natural ground blind and they have been comfortable for us for 3 hour sits. I don't know if Primos still makes a similar chair, as they bought out Double Bull years ago.

Last year I bought a $15 three leg folding stool with a back rest at Walmart. Light weight and comfortable enough. Easy to pack around. I have another one that doesn't have a back rest and I won't use it anymore.

I actually just ordered a chair very similar to that one off Amazon to try out. The one I ordered you can fold the legs up and make it sit lower to the ground, which I think will work well for setting up in the brush when I don't want to be in a blind.

That's almost identical to the camo one I bought at Walmart last year for $15-20. It's more comfortable than a folding stool with no back rest, but it leaves a lot to be desired for long sits. It works well in my hub blind, but it seems to be too tall for setting up in the brush most places.

I use a Millennium with a LWCG shoulder harness and waist belt. It’s light but I wouldn’t describe it as lightweight, but the comfort is great and the silent swivel is a big plus for getting in a position to shoot. The Millennium tree seat is very lightweight but it’s not stand alone seat.

Can you post a photo of your chair folded up with the shoulder strap rig attached? I have a DB camo blind chair that works pretty well, but the single strap over the neck design is pretty crappy....especially with a hooded garment.
