Example. I have a z7 magnum. Now does anyone think it's possible to replace the idler with a cam. Now the top cam would have to be a lh cam. Obviously strings and cables would have to be custom. The only issue I really see that could be troublesome is cam lean. Would like to hear some input on this. Thanks.

There are single cam bows converted to dual cams, but just to replace the idle is probably asking a lot. My 2002 Hoyt UltraTec with dual track single cam was retro fitted with Hoyt's Cam & 1/2"

Mathews Apex 7. I installed Hoyt Spiral cams. I had to fabricate custom axle spacers (shims). If I remember correctly, about 0.003-inches on the top axle, and about 0.010-inches on the bottom axle...total thickness for each axle.

Smack dab in the center.

Shoot thru buss cable. I used a block of wood, cuz it was lying around, as my custom spreader.

Cuz the d-loop is NOT in the middle of the bowstring, I would not use a rh single cam and a lh single cam. The cable takeup and string takeup are not designed to work in tandem for your riser. Find a hybrid cam system where the cam bearing width will fit your limb fork available space.
