Agree. Look good, shoot good applies at this price. Confidence is key at this level. Wns is good. Check alternativess. They sometimes are cheaper there, even with the shipping.

WNS Explore has been my go to for low cost limbs. They work well. I use the wood core.

 

Galaxy limbs are an excellent limb for the dollar value. They are manufactured by win and win.

WNS limbs are good also but tend to stack a whole lot more.

Foam core are very soft shooting but often many experienced young and proficient archers will like maple or bamboo due to feed back the limbs provide.

 

This is not true. The Galaxy line is not necessarily manufactured by a single manufacturer. The Gold Star are definitely manufactured by Sanlida.

WNS is absolutely manufactured by W&W, so it's weird to recommend a competitor based on that.

 

I've shot both the bronze and the silver Galaxy limbs. Happy with both. I shoot a 25 inch riser with Medium limbs for a 68 inch AMO. If your student has a longer draw length, go with the long limbs and the AMO will be 2 inches longer.

 

Galaxy Silver all the way. To be honest, I bought a set of Gold limbs and I can't tell the difference in them and top end limbs from a couple of other manufacturers.

 

I'm getting a lot of milage out of my Sanlida X9's.

 

I have not had a chance to compare any of these limbs, but I shoot the Explore CB1 carbon-bamboo limbs and like them. They require a high brace height if you want them to shoot quietly. For that reason, they may demand a slightly higher-spined arrow.

 

I recommend Sanlida X9 or X10

 

I've been shooting the WNS Delta C3 limbs for a few months now as an upgrade from Fleetwood Ace limbs, which I believe are white labels of the Sanlida X9 limbs. I know alot of people gripe on the stack up of the foam cores, but I don't personally observe much difference in this regard between my C3's and maple limbs with a 31 inch draw on a 68" bow.
