i had a prime last year, and have a couple friends that shoot g5, and you dont hear a lot of bad about them. their fit and finish, as well as their customer support is second to none. other than the prime being a little loud, i have ZERO complaints about it. they are a great company, and i would buy from them again.

My brother has a QS33, I had the XPB32. I really like them. I didn't like the draw specific cams on the XPB. High quality, excellent finish, the grip was ok but I had a hard time w consistent hand placement. It felt decent, though. Far from a speed bow but they're built for hunting and,as such, are pretty quiet and vibe free w a solid wall and smooth draw.

I've had a QS and a hammer (same bow different name) and liked them both. One of the Quietest bows Quest ever made IMO. I have a XPB now and guess it will go to my grave with me. I shoot it better than any bow I've ever owned. Like everyone else said, great fit and finish on them too

I really like my 2010 Heat. The only thing I have noticed was that while shooting my super-light 3D arrows at 60lbs, my string stop would come loose slightly. I just tightening it down and its been fine ever since. My bow has shot really well for costing 600 at the time. Even though I am looking for a 2013 model, I will keep this bow for 3D and a backup hunting rig.

I have a 2009 Quest QS33 and love it!
I also picked up a 2012 Prime Centroid (for target)and love it as well!
I am a G5 man since 2009, Now that I got a Prime too, I will be for life!
Im looking for a new hunting rig soon. Quest Primal, Drive, or Prime Shift or Defy......??

i recently bought a quest primal and to be honest this bow blows all the other big name bows i've owned out of the water. when i first set it up there was a little noise and vibe after messing with the string stop and putting a good stabilizer on it there's nothing, the draw is smooth as butter (and i have a bad shoulder) when at full draw i feel like i could hold it forever. as for speed i can;t say what im mark im hitting as i havent chrono'd it yet but its right up there with the top of the line bows i've had..my fiance also has a quest torch and she loves it,she had a few other brands before this and was never completely happy with them. put the quest in her hands and she loves shooting just as much as i do,she's actually trying to find a all black torch to set up for targets now----here's a pic of mine,i have a black stabilizer on the way for it right now

For the money you can't beat them, they are top notch and compete shooting with anything out there

My XPB is top notch and at the time was just as good as the mathews etc - might not be as fast but I can consistently hit the 10 ring at any distance

I think G5 put more effort lately into their PRIME line though which is the more high end as the quest bows haven't changed much in the last 3 years (obviously slight upgrades/changes but not alot)

Either way you will definitely be happy with any Quest

ive got a quest primal. awesome bow and i beleive just as good as the big name bows out there. the only problem ive had is the cable digging into the cable guard, but i took it to a dealer and they just switched me out to a completely new bow. great customer service, and great bows that are quite a bit cheaper than the big name companies. the g-fade is pretty cool too

I shot my first prime today actually felt great draw was nice was dead in had after shot was fast pretty quite and what i thought was the best part was having four cams or dual cam tech or whatever but i def wouldnt b ashamed to own one

Used to own 2 Primals. Over all I feel they were very solid bows. Loved the grip and the flat wide arrow shelf. One of the 2 I owned was very quiet. The finish was every bit as good as an Elite. Speed wise, plenty fast enough to get the job done.

Their biggest down fall was the I -Glide. It flattened out the cables and induced torque big time. The newer flex I-Glide is supposed to help some but from what I've been told it still falls short of being a true flex guard.

Stock strings were junk...some of the worse I've ever seen. The tag ends were horrible.

Over all the Primals are nice hunting bows.

Happy Shooting.

Skeet.

G5 in general has come a long way in string building, they make them all their own right at their facility and don't use an outside company at all on every bow - i will agree though at one time they were leaving alot to be desired, still not sure they are the best out there but its nice to know they improved
