Gained some new tree branch scratches this past season. Short of taking it to a body shop is there any over-the-counter product to remove scratches from my truck? It's a black GMC Sierra and the lightest scratches show like a neon sign on it.

There's a product you can get in the car wax aisle at Wal Mart that'll help with surface scratches. I don't remember the name, but it's in an orange bottle. It helped hide some scratches I had on a black Charger demo I was driving...the scratches were from one of my turkeys jumping on the trunk to roost .
Or you could go to a detail shop and they can buff out most surface scratches with some light compound.
Most scratches will buff out with car wax and a buffer. For deeper ones, you will need one of the products that specialize in that.....can't think of the names off the top of my head.
Buffing it will take alot of the light scratches out. Buy yourself a buffing wheel and be carful. Or take it somewhere. Around me they charge $75 for a exterior detail.
heck id just go put more scratches in the side=its a truck not a Ferrari
