Gained some new tree branch scratches this past season. Short of taking it to a body shop is there any over-the-counter product to remove scratches from my truck? It's a black GMC Sierra and the lightest scratches show like a neon sign on it.

Is this a hunting truck, or your daily driver. If its purely for hunting, screw the scratches, just keep driving it.:wink:
There's a product you can get in the car wax aisle at Wal Mart that'll help with surface scratches. I don't remember the name, but it's in an orange bottle. It helped hide some scratches I had on a black Charger demo I was driving...the scratches were from one of my turkeys jumping on the trunk to roost

Or you could go to a detail shop and they can buff out most surface scratches with some light compound.

Most scratches will buff out with car wax and a buffer. For deeper ones, you will need one of the products that specialize in that.....can't think of the names off the top of my head.
You need to ask the fanatical detailers about it!
