Scorpyd Telson Compared To Other Scorpyds?

Ive yet to shoot (only handled) a couple Scorpyds at the local store/range. I dont rem what models (I think one was a Vent 165) but I dont rem what the other one was.

I do know it wasnt a Telson because I called when I got home to double check.

My question is, as asked above, how does it "compare" to the Vent and Velocity? Size, weight, handling etc.

I currently own/shoot a Parker BlackHawk and although she isnt a speed demon, it was her weight, size, balanced feel and shooting ability that originally drew me to her and :)

I have a feeling the Telson might be the same way but since I cant handle one to see...

Thanks in advance

I have a Telson 130 and never had a problem,Its still on its first string and I shoot a lot, Never been reserved either, Its not fussy with arrows as I shoot BEE,Gt111.stryker all shoot to same point of impact. ITS WIDE tho, however because of reverse limbs that is not a real issue as the string will not be on the outside. IMO that is big advantage. This bow will never leave me as it accepts a BRO peep combo. There will be another Scorpyd with a crank in the future for me,

Here are some photos for size comparison. A velocity and a vent-( .6lbs separate them). A slp165-~1lb more(same size as a Velocity) and a rdt125 ~1" wider similar weight(on right same as a Telson) cocked. The older heavier, wider Scorpyds offer the best shot qualities. ie, smoother draws, minimal noise/vibrations but, the masses want narrower lighter xbows. So to cover all the weight ranges there is roughly 1.5 lbs to consider and 1/2 a dollar bill in width and 1/3 a dollar bill in length. The new Orion will be the lightest Scorpyd when it finally hits the market later this year.

I ordered a 130 Telson direct from Scorpyd last spring and in my opinion it is a deer killing machine. Fast and full of energy, quiet and very accurate. A little wider and a little heavier then the other Scorpyds but for under 1k you just can't beat it! If you can find one I would seriously consider choosing the Telson 130.
