sitka fanatic hoody sizing fit??

I'm wanting to buy a sitka fanatic hoody, but unfortunately live in an area where no one sells them so I can't try one on. I'm 5`10" and 170# medium frame build. Was wondering if I need a medium or large size. Any help would be appreciated. Don't plan on using a lot of base layers underneath.

I'm going to guess that you need a large.

A medium will fit you snug against your skin and a large will allow you to layer under it. Im the same size as you and a medium is a nice fit and I use large when I just use it over other gear. I have 2 mediums in stock and large in stock.

I'm 5' 11" 170 34 waste. I wear a large and fits great. Not loose but not tight. I would never think about the medium.

Thanks for the help. I was thinking lg would be safest/best fit.

I'm 5' 5" flat stomach and weight 135 lb the most. I bought one in medium. Loose on me but it means I can layer up underneath... Thermal top, a light fleece jacket and then the Fanatic Hoody. All that and it's a snug fit.
