Hi all I’m looking for the diameter of the sight tape wheel surface on a spot hog fast Eddie. As well As the width of the surface that the tape sits on.

Anything larger in diameter will cause the pointer on the double pointer to no longer line up with both pins. The poitners are calibrated for the exact diameter and even a small change in diameter will cause the pointers to no longer be accurate for both pins on the double pin. Because of the circular nature, you will also cause the pointers to not sit flush with the wheel. So if you get the adjustable pointer, you will have the bottom pointer touch the sight tape, and the top or top two pointers will be up in the air and will no longer be precise as your head position will affect the distance the pointer is pointing at. Either way, it will not work as well as the factory setup.

If you truly want interchangeable sight tapes, you would be better off not using the adhesive of the sight tapes, but just taping the ends of the sight tape onto the wheel. Know which setup is which number and pull the taped sight tape off and switch it to the new setup. All you need is a new piece of tape on the top and bottom of your sight tape for each setup. This will allow you to properly use the pointers as they are designed to be used, and allow you to shoot multiple setups. Or better yet use a hog father or tommy hog and archers mark and just switch between sight marks for each setup. Both of those methods will give you far more accurate and consistent setups than trying to fabricate a mocked up new sight tape ring that won't work properly with the factory pointers.

Is that what you're looking to make?
