In my opinion, Stan dropped the ball big time on this release. They show new releases at the ATA show, but it will end up being months before anyone sees them. I know about supply chain issues, materials sourcing, all of that drivel, but these companies can do better. Ultraview released a brand new hinge last week, and you were able to buy them immediately.

How is this different from any other year or countless products over the last decade? It's always been a see it at the ATA Show and not expect availability until closer to season arrives.Sure it's longer now just like everything. It's not like UV just surprised the archery world with a new release 6 weeks ago as it's been known to be in the works for a long while in response to so many lackluster experiences and complaints with the original Hinge. There's a huge difference between taking an existing release and improving it based on community feedback vs taking the core of an existing release and creating a completey different activation method

I won't necessarily say it's unfair to hold Stan to a certain standard but to use the Hinge 2 as an example for sure seems a bit biased.

edit: FWIW both shops I talked to said they expect mid-april for the Onnex

I'll stick to my original thought. Stan dropped the ball when they dropped the MoreX series........

Stan has the worst roll out I've seen for a release. There is no update on their website, no update or promo on FB, no videos on YT.....nothing except PJ Riley at the ATA.

I had my heart set on a stan hinge with the Perfex style handle but since I can't find any detail on it....im out.

My attention has moved to the UV 2 hinge.

Good luck Stan....wish you and your lack of .marketing well.

To answer your question, yes, I shot the entire line, and as far as I'm concerned, the new hinge is by far and away the absolute worst hinge I have ever shot.
Felt WAY to big in my hand, (not because of the size, it was just to bulky). Single moon and the rep told me no click option. Now he may have just meant no click option on the one he had, maybe not all of them.

The other releases in the line up were pretty nice and felt great as Stans usually do, although I think the bright gold color heavy metal option was a fail in itself, I mean I would never hunt with it. but the other colors were sweet!

With UV putting out the new 2 moon hinge with the hunting bracket, HBC with the Perkins signature series, and all the other great options out there. I really don't think Stan is gonna have any success at all with the hinge.
