Cant believe all of the issues guys are having with these tactacam reveal x's me included, spend good money for a camera and they don't work. Just as bad as the previous brand I had. My reveal x hasn't had a signal since I took it out of the box a month ago and its a replacement to replace the original reveal that stopped working. Bought a new antenna hopefully it works.
Check your email. Emily just emailed you regarding your camera.

What is the difference between “remove” and “deactivate”?

Deactivating the camera removes the camera and the subscription you paid for. Removing the camera only keeps the subscription on the account and allows you to swap cameras or in this case a new sim card.

Camera is facing north in heavy canopy with shadows during a sunny day. I'm assuming the shadows are setting the camera off. I set the sensitivity to 1. Under those circumstances should it be on 1 or 10? I had it set to 5 originally.

Thanks for the info. I've liked my SK's so far and your help via this board has been indispensable. Seems like there are a few software kinks to work out but what new electronics don't. Have both set to collect video+pictures but one says there aren't any videos when I try to download. Thinking cycling the camera and checking the WiFi setting will fix this. My photo's have been good for a trail camera. Won't be shooting any weddings with it but I can differentiate deer. Downloaded videos have been fine too. FWIW, the battery has stayed at 100% on one and 90% on the other for the week.
Hope Tactacam appreciates the service you are providing their customers.

The one that says videos aren’t available…is it on settings check instant, send pictures timely? I have noticed on my SKs that if they are set to settings or send pictures on a delay, that I get that same error. You can make this change over cellular, just have to wait for a settings update. I was experimenting with this on my SKs and changed these settings multiple times before I figured out the issue.

You can run a 64gb SanDisk extreme pro with zero issues as that is what I have in all of mine

Setting up the new SK and tried two different SanDisk Extreme Pro 64GB cards and neither worked. Computer will recognize them so the cards seem okay. The camera recognized a lower tier 8GB card. Any Ideas or do I just need to buy a 32GB card.

I thought that 32 GB was the largest card that can be supported by the SDHC format. When you go above that with any SD card, it becomes an SDXC card. Because Tactacam specifically calls for 32 GB or less card, I had always assumed they do not support the SDXC format. Oddly enough in pictures, Tactacam SD cards appear to be 32 GB SDXC cards, but I am almost positive they are in reality SDHC.

I think both are set to daily setting check and I have one set to send timely and the other set to send twice a day. That may be the issue since I've downloaded videos for the one set to timely and the twice daily is giving the error. The odd thing is that the timely camera battery is staying at 100% and the twice daily is staying at 90%.

Thanks for the tip.

No problem, testing it out I actually think settings check can be set to either timely or daily but the send pictures must be set to timely. When settings check is set to instant, I think send pictures is automatically set to timely.

Mine are not doing well on battery, set up since the day after release at Cabelas. Once the bug is fixed and we are able to return to daily uploads I believe it will be improved.

I hope at some point extra battery packs are available for the SK so I can run around hot swapping them and don’t have to return to each camera site twice.

They are sdhc cards. I am running 64gb cards in mine as a test and I have had zero issues, but the software is designed for sdhc cards u3 cards
