I don’t think that’s the problem. All of the vital info. ( date time temp) is at the bottom as it should be. I’m calling Tactacam tomorrow

It’s upside down. Something has turned it. A buddy had a buck come and turn his upside down from rubbing on it. The info was still in the correct bottom location as well. It must be tagged from the app and not directly from the camera.

I just bought the reveal x-pro and can’t get it to take pictures when in work mode or send pictures unless I take the test picture by tapping the power button. I’ve set it up inside and walked by it in work mode with only one picture being taken but none since. I have a sandisk 16gb 10 U1 in it which may be my issue and have a 16gb 10 U3 ordered. It’s also showing in the app that my camera has never been updated and battery, signal, memory and temp are all labeled unknown. Looking forward to getting the kinks worked out.

Sometimes cards other than recommended ones work and sometimes they don’t. I’d wait until the U3 comes in and go from there.

It usually takes 24 hours from activating a camera for the readings to register normal. If you’re using lithium batteries the battery life will read 100% until they are completely dead.

I wasn’t sure if the card would keep it from triggering and taking pics in general, hopefully the new card will fix the issues. Thanks for the response.

Yep it was the SD card, put a U3 in and it’s working great. Thanks again

I’ve got 4 of these cams, all about 4 months old or so, haven’t had any issues until recently, 2 of the 4 are now not working and I’m pretty sure I have a 3rd one on the way out, they’re all gen 1 reveal x, I have the class 10 u3 32 cards that are recommended. The 2 I have on hand we’re working just fine Friday, I went and pulled them and moved them, now they won’t take any pics at all, let alone send it to the app. I’ve got them both in my house and have been walking in front of em all day and there is no pics on the card at all, I was on the phone with tactacam for about 30 mins today and while they were easy to talk to I’m still exactly where I started. Battery life is good, signal says strong, anyone have any suggestions? Can’t figure out why they would work perfectly fine and then quit just because I moved them.

Anyone else getting a Network Error: Unauthorized screen when they check their new photos? I’ve been getting one since about 8 am. Gotten notifications and when I go to the app to check them I get that at the top of the screen

My XB hasn't checked in in 4 days and the batteries should still be ok and cell strength is strong. I got a pic today that says 02/07/2106 and there is a deer in it. Any ideas? The cam has never missed a check in.

I had an SK doing the same thing but signal strength was likely the issue and I knew it would be. Problem with it now is, it won't send the videos I requested. I picked a different video just to see if it would send and it did so I'm not sure why the other videos won't send. This camera is taking pics for no reason now also and I've even set the sensitivity down to 3.

One of my 3 reveal x 2.0's is sending blank pics (purchased in October 2022). False triggers. I contacted support and they answered the phone first call. Said to put camera in a cabinet so they could verify the false triggers. Sure enough blank pics. They want me to send the camera back on my dime for repair... I was also charged overage fees because this camera ripped off hundreds of blank pictures. They didn't offer to reimburse me for the overage fees the faulty camera caused. In my opinion a new camera should be mailed with a return label for the faulty camera. I shouldn't be paying overage fees that were the result of a faulty camera. Just a heads up for anyone considering a tactacam.

I have a Reveal X Pro, has anyone had trouble with it making a noise when taking pictures? This is my first cell camera and I have a lot of deer that would be passing by on a trail but hear it and then walk up to it to check it out. I emailed support and they said it will make a click noise but shouldn’t spook the game. 🤷🏼‍♂️
