I just bought a Vapor 470 and need a target that will stop my bolts without destroying the fetchings. I have a Rhinehart that worked great for my other crossbows, but not for this one. (Says for crossbows up to 450....guess it was right.) What are you guys suggestions?

In my experience, target makers are ‘optimistic’ in their ratings. They might stop an arrow at that speed, but not for long. I have a Big Shot Kinetic 650 that I’m confident will last a good while with 450-500 fps arrows.

Big shot 18" x 18" will do it. You could get away with not getting the 650 if you want to save some coin. Heck they might even be the same price anyway.
I have the vapor and the normal big shot target and they are a great match up.

The biggest key to target longevity is having enough space to move your shots around so you are not pounding the same spot over and over. Shoot one side one day and flip it over for the next session. I have had very good luck with both the Big Shot and Spyder Web targets. If you go with the spyder web add a few extra screws to the edge molding around the target, it keeps the target from coming apart at the corners.

I am the odd man out as I don't shoot field points. I sight with briadheads and then leave it alone.
I have found the bag targets to hold up well with compounds and recurve though. If they start to get shot out I repair them with polyester pillow filling. And a new cover. Or a feed bag and duct tape.
