So i recently picked up a left hand Triax 70lbs. @ 28.5 in., in ridge reaper forest. I wanted to share my first impressions with everyone and get comments from the field.
Pros:
Super Quiet
Dead in hand
Smooth draw
Shoots like a 31+ inch ATA out to 60yds so far.
Cons:
Draw length (most folks say it shoots long but mine felt 1/2 short). Ordered 29in mod, will update.
Price: very pricey. $1049
Can't just buy the bow. Thought I could use my whisker biscuit or other QAD rest, NOPE! Gonna order the Mathews QAD rest.
Overall thoughts: this is an awesome bow, and since this was a gift to myself for a promotion at work, price was never a thought. Had price been an issue, given the fact that I had to buy a new rest too, i would've passed on this bow ( $1200 with rest). Wait, for the price to come down on this bow then, go and get you one. :wink:
