The tension setting on the Blade Pro Flex is not capable of going as high with the factory spring as some other popular releases.

I forget who suggested it, but a user on here figured out a M1 Garand Extractor spring is the same diameter, and if you trim it down a bit, it will fit and give you the potential for a much heavier trigger

I love mine but I have it set super hot with very little travel. But it was pretty snug when I got it

 

I shoot the Blade Pro Quicksilver. Mine is set very hot because of the way that I shoot.
How heavy do you want the thumb button and why heavier than the factory setting?

 

The factory setting would probably be fine. This would be my first thumb button release so I would rather get used to it having a little control over the shot as opposed to a hot setup.

 

I command shoot my thumb button without any back tension. I have complete control over my shot process.

I love the blade, But I set my releases light with no travel.

If there's one negative its if i rotate my hand flat against my cheek, I can feel the d-loop drag on the flat jaw.

For that reason I actually prefer the Goat.
Triggers are identical between the two.

 

I set my releases on the medium-light side and I was able to get my Blade Pro exactly where I like it with no issue. Never tried cranking up the tension so I guess I can't say.
