I recently got my first hinge, a used trufire sear. I put the 4finger hook on but it only had 1 set screw. I walked the 3d course yesterday trying it out. Got up to go today and realized the 4th finger is completely gone. I still have the third finger to put on it but now im missing the dowel pin and both set screws. I REALLY liked the 4 finger feel. Anyone know how or where i could find a replacement 4th finger, dowel and both set screws? Or do i chaulk this up to a learning experiance and try to find another one in classifieds?

I havent touched any of the sear settings or screws, whatever its set at is "cold enuff" for me to be able to draw and let down carefully. I was just starting to get comfortable and liking it when i found it missing pieces this am. I will try contacting Trufire next week.

"Grub screws" is that what their actually called? Is that something i could find at an Ace Hardware or Home Depot? Any idea what size they are?

ya i read some mixed reviews on it but i wanted to try a hinge, i got this one really cheap on the classifieds and i like a larger surface since i have decent sized hands. I got it, stood about a foot in front of my target a few dozen times just drawing back and blank bailing trying to figure out how to fire it (never held a hinge before) once i got comfortable with drawing it and no accidental misfires then i worked a few dozen let downs. Then i started walking backwards in the garage to 5y and 10y shots. Then i took it out to the local range and walked the 3d Course. What ever it is set at is working for me, its set on a click and i havent even come close to punching myself in mouth yet. i figured once i no longer had to think about my sequence with it then i would look into learning more of the sear adjustments. Now i just really want to get the 4th finger attachement back on it. my release shot was so much smoother and easier to process with that over my thumb release. I was really able to just focus on holding my shot and the "surprise" portion of the shot really made sense.

Wow, first experience with Feradyne and have to give them the nod. I emailed cust svc Monday, they replied Tues afternoon and sent me a link to fill out a warranty ticket. Got home after work, took pictures and filled out the form. This am i got an email saying it was approved and this afternoon i got an email with the tracking #. Replacement parts will be here by Friday via fed ex. I admitted to losing the 4th finger and buying it second hand. Thats some real product support. I will be looking into their over all product lines for other purchases in the future if thats how they handle their business.
