Turkey Blind Suggestions

Looking for an update from a old 2016 thread. I have been hunting turkeys successfully for several years with a compound. I am looking to switch to a 62" recurve and need more room than my doghouse blind provides. I use decoys and generally my shots are from 7 to 12 yards. Have not decided on a broadhead but may go with a guillotine type head. As this blind would be used but for 1 week/year of turkey hunting, I would like to keep the cost down . I stand 6'2" with a 62" bow; hence I need some space. Considering Baronnett's Big Mike or Big Cat. Thanks for your suggestions.

Barronett makes some great blinds. I have a handful of them. Not a trad guy but wanted to chime in. I have a couple Big Mike's, a couple Ox-5's but just recently I bought the High-five and the Four-sight. I killed a bird out of the High-five in Nebraska about ten days ago. These two blinds have the one way fabric on the front 270 degrees. I keep the front two windows open and get a clear view to draw when they are behind the the one way. They are awesome!!

Sure do appreciate the replies. I will take a closer look at the Baronnett line. The natural blind has advantages but not so good for pick up and move to another spot for whatever reason! And I have to admit, I enjoy the warmth in the morning that a blind provides. I hear the comment (and experienced) about being close so I want to be aware of having a window low enough to shoot. Have also thought about a ghillie suit but feel that is above my pay grade with a recurve at this point. But that would be intense! Thanks for the advice and insight.

Bowmania: Wow, 64" bow and shot standing up. Was your bow cant fairly significant? I shoot with a fairly straight bow and seem to be well past 80" vertical. I'm questioning the entire blind idea. Thanks for your input!
