I'm setting these up this year for my hunting arrows, and so far love the specs. I like the outsert design and opted for the 75 grain aluminum/stainless steel outsert. I also ordered the weight system in 10, 20, and 50 grain weights to be able to add weight up front and still run standard 100 or 125 grain heads, but keep my overall arrow weight around 500-525ish. Not sure that vanes I am going to run yet, but so far I like the specs on these shafts.

Anyone running these shafts, and if so, how did you like them? I hope they are fairly tough as I want to run one through an elk and a few whitetail this year.

I set up six of them last season and they flew good, but ultimately went with 5mm axis for my set up. Vanes are tricky with the small diameter, blazers did fine for me; even out to 80-100 yards. Never did shoot an animal with them but in 3D targets they buried deep. 75g outsert gave me great FOC.

With good foc you won’t need much for fletching. They are tack drivers.

110 yard group the other day. Might drop to a 3 fletch I almost have to much fletch from my testing. Have 225 grains up front for 20% foc.

Wow, that is some crazy good shooting! Good to hear on the fletchings. I had planned to run at least 200 up front, but I will have the weights to add to it to play with a few weights until I get what I want. Cool stuff.

Great Arrow!

I'm shooting the 350 spine cut to 27.25" c to c.
70 grain Ethics SS Halfouts with 100 grain points. 440gr TAW. Somewhere around 16% FOC if that even matters. Bow is 60#, 28" DL.

I have used a lot of different .204 ID shafts and these have been some of the best I've used. I plan on buying another dozen here shortly.

These are my favorite vanes for shooting fixed blade broadheads. From left to right, Q2i Fusion X II 1.75" in 4 fletch, Easton Bully Boattail 2", Q2i Raptor Zeon, Q2i Fusion II 2.1". The 2 in the middle are RIP TKO.
